I believe that some of our greatest opportunities for learning to love ourselves can be found underneath what bugs us. Our negative reaction to what other people do to us and how we judge them, is a repressed part of us that is hiding some of our power. Triggers and judgments are an invitation from life to look within at what we aren’t okay with.

These often come from childhood wounds – the patterns we developed to be loved and belong. Every one of them is useful in some way.  They’re not wrong or bad and we all have them.  Approaching them with compassionate awareness, honesty and kindness facilitates healing and integration.  They don’t need to be fixed. They want to be seen, understood and accepted. This work offers more inner and outer peace, love and harmony.  Looking isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.
